What meds can I use?

I am trying to regain a normal life. I won't even take a children's aspirin b/c I am afraid of what it will do to me. This is no way to live but after what I went thru I am just plain scared. I am so afraid if I take any drug it will produce a dystonic effect or cause me to go psychotic. I don't know what meds cross over. What can I use for pain? What anesthesia can I use?
