I must admit that I'm a caffeine 'hater' (I strongly believe that it can ruin a persons energy levels and stability), but from my experience caffeine simply should not be be necessary once you hit the right med/combo.
Plus, there are plenty of decaff varieties available if you MUST have that coffee (I've even found that a decaff coffee in the morning can actually 'fool' my brain into waking up).
