You should not get dissociation, nightmares, memory problems, nervous system sensitivies from drugs that are supposed to help you.
I totaly agree with some of the things u said,i also agree strongly with the above comment.Where i disagree is suggesting talk therapy can fix a PYSHICAL brain disorder, why i DO believe people with clincal depression have.
Unfortunatly the current medicine are making so much money there is little encourgment for pharm companys do do heavy work in finding out what problems in the brain are really going on,instead of making just another tweaked serotion drug.I think we see the progress ssris are gonna provide, its inadequate, lets move away, but then again why?Long as docs are still able to convince the general public how helpful they are then why change what aint broken.
Again where i disagree with you is i believe it WILL indeed take a pharmcutical drug to treat clinical depression,as any other brain disorer rquires, unfortunaly for us however the progress into finding even a semi effective medication doesent seem to be much of a pritoirty,we have come no where in the past 5 years, all we have are similiar sister ssris tweaked here,or there to get the manf name on it.We need some serious studies done and medication that attacks depression at a whole different angle than ssris.
