I don't know the exact reason, but I do believe that for some people certain SSRIs can cause rage.

I can only take Prozac - I need the long half life of it, perhaps because I am quick to break down medicines.

I cycled on Paxil, Zoloft and Effexor - up and down - brain zapping - the whole works. I think it was Paxil that made me feel enraged and I am not an angry sort of person.
