I, too, have experienced stiff neck with SSRIs. Prozac was the worst offender probably because it has the longest half life. Celexa and Lexapro a little less. Had a problem with Effexor, too, even at really low doses so I never got to the pain reduction benefit.

Cymbalta was interesting. I was started at 30mg, which was WAY too high and had every side effect in the book. But I tapered backwards and found that 5mg gave me energy with minimal stiff neck. Unfortunately, no help with pain at that dose, however.

Which serotonin receptor is causing the problem with stiff neck? Anyone?
