> Hehe, Teg. does have a way of chilling one out doesn't it? Geez, I'm not sure the Teg or the Zoloft is the one causing the duhs for you. I had some serious word-finding problems taking any of them except Prozac. Effexor has the least liver interactions of the SRI AD's (from what I understand), but I'm sure you don't want to revisit that one again! The next one least likely to interact from what I recall probably would be Celexa or Lexapro (Celexapro! Cipralexa!). Prozac/Luvox/Paxil should have the strongest interaction with Tegretol. Generic citalopram probably would be the easiest route, however... you seem to sound a bit more cheerful on the Zoloft.. maybe just a dosage tinker is all you need? You're on 200mg Tegretol and 50mg Zoloft + Neurontin, right? -- MitchHi Mitch..
Yes I'm 200 mg ( twice a day) 50mg zoloft 1800 mg neurontin.
I think the low IQ'S is the Paxil discontinuation-the anxiety that paxil helped with has gone I can get so nervous that I lose the plot...I was a very nervous/anxious person.
I tried celexa..it made my thoughts race as if I developed OCD also made my muscles twitch. The good thing about Celexa is I sang a lot outside : )
Anyway Lexapro would be an alternative..but I have some fondness towards zoloft although it made me manic--but that was without mood stabilisers.
at least I can stay wake for more than 4 hours now.
Maybe I could go to 25mg if I get the giggles for no reason and attack my credit card.
The Paxil discontinuated is getting worse but I knew what to expect...I'm even dreaming of the paxil - my veins were popping out and I was turning blue so had to take it again.. it's haunting me
I'm rambling..Thanks very much for your advice.Slinky
