I have actually tried amitriptyline for migraine (no avail), the topamax, made me slow, dumb. Zonegran, i had an allergic reaction to. So now it's onto Depakote. The anti-seizures seem to work much better for the migraines, and somehow, makes my sleep normal again.
As far as SSRIS, paxil seems to be the only one that works (but only minimal). I began on it 7 yrs ago, and was panic free for a couple years and felt awesome and my self, but had a major break through attack, or poop out 2.5 yrs ago. No luck with lexapro or effexor, and zoloft, i probably didn't give it long enough try. Thanks for your help

Depakote is a popular anti-siezure drug with good mood stabilizing properties that is used by alot of bipolar people. Have you tried any other anti-migraine meds?
