Hi there. I took Zoloft for a short time but had to stop as it made me so nauseous that I couldn't stick with it. I also had tried Prozac, Paxil, Effexor, Trazodone, Serzone(made me incredibly spacey) and welbutrin. Nothing did ANYTHING for me, other than making me sick.
I started Lexapro six weeks ago and it's been wonderful. Side effects were nausea, etc, but my doc (primary care physician) suggested I cut pills in half. This worked great. Side effects abated and I worked my way up to 10 mg. Now feel less anxious, less depressed. So this SSRI is working for me. For now.My best friend takes Zoloft, likes it alot, keeps her from feeling depressed, no side effects. She tried Lexapro and it did NOTHING for her. So I think it's all pretty random what will and won't work for who.
warmly
