Are you born in 1980?, i doubt it if you have taken Miltown in the past considering its a rather ancient seldom used med these days. When I first used Xanax I had the same reaction you describe, would feel great for 4 or so hrs, then had a hangover-like feeling, It would be bad the next day, if i took it at nite, i would be mentally unstable- the similar reaction as if i drink alcohol- of which, of all the benzos which have been ignorantly described as (Alcohol in a pill)Xanax seems the closest-initial high, social interaction effects, then sedation, then hangover like effects, some have described Xanax as an excellent Psychic quick-acting pain killer, and I would agree some with this.I have been on Clonazepam for 16 months 2-4 mgs a day, and while I guess it works some, it doesn't dissolve acute psychic tension like taking .5-1mg of Xanax, which i may add last time i took it the effects were different than first time, a consequence of neuro changes of long time Clonaz use Im guessing, despite the setbacks, or 10-20mgs of Diazepam, which sedates me then has a subtle drop off-nice, unfortunately my current **hol* Doc knows I like it and will seldomly give it to me, This may soon change, will said Doc, I am keen to try Ativan, for my severe anxiety condition, however everytime I have suggested it, he wont go there, althought he Scribes 60mgs 3x daily of Ritalin, cos the Psydoc I saw says I have an ADD like condition,so that apparently makes it alright HA<medicine> althought I quit this 2 days ago and feel better, althought mentally sluggesh, while my dopamine receptors figger out whats going on,-I guess,
Hope this helps sum.
Good Health
