I'm fairly weak on stimulant knowledge, post a message to 'Ame Sans Vie', he is one of the ADD suferers with long term stimulant experience. I think he takes DXM with his stimulants.
Alternatively, since you suffered some psychosis to dexedrine (I think?) you might like to look at Strattera, or one of the old/cheap stimulating TCA's such as Desipramine or Nortriptyline.
