I'll tell you what's after them. A drug called Ocinaplon, or something like it, which is anxio-selective. That means it operates on anxiety, period. Basically, the substance works like benzos, but without the attendant side affects (alcohol potentiation, amnesia, withdrawal syndrome, sleep induction, and general clumsiness). It mechanism of action is on the certain subtypes of the GABA-A receptor, some of which are responsible for sediation, other's for anxiety, and other's for alcohol interaction. Ocinaplon is specific to the subtype which modules anxiety. So that's what's next.
