Hi Daniel J.:
I recall regarding the weight gain of your son due to 'massive' dosage of Zyprexa.

I didn't gain a weight at the beginning of tx, but strangely now, ... after three and a half years later, I started a bit gaining a weight. But, since just here and there, ... then I will stick with Zyprexa because of 'good' effectiveness to my symptoms.

I can not take any of SSRIs. As a matter of fact, I got a name for my illness, Bp is because of Zoloft. After several days on Zoloft(very low dosage), I started experiencing 'manic' and depressive episodes alternatively VERY fast. For that, my old pdoc. pronounced me 'Ultra Rapid Cycler' Bipolar II.
For me, Zyprexa is one of 'life-saver' meds.
