Almost 1 year ago my 16 yr old son started Zyprexa. Because of his slow recovery he went from 10 mg to 20 mg within a month. Delusions and Obsessions did not seem to be affected as much by Zyprexa as they did as Zoloft was increased to 75mg and maintained for a month. Recovery from a major episode can be gradual and after about 6 mo he was able to attend high school though his recovery was still continuing. Over the past month his Zyprexa has been cut to 15 mg and now to 10 mg where his Zoloft is still at 75 mg. He is on summer vacation now and we are hoping when school starts he can stay on 10 mg but if we notice symptoms returning I suppose we will have to get his Psy Dr to put him back on 15 mg. (we hope not 20 mg). Thanks for listening DJ
