> Hey! Personally, I think Ativan is OK, but that Klonopin (clonazepam) is a WHOLE lot better. Klonopin has a long half-life, so you only need to dose 2, at most 3 times a day....there also seems to be less of a tolerance problem with Klonopin than with shorter-acting benzos like Ativan and Xanax, so doses don't have to be upped as often. Also, if you had a "paradoxical reaction" to a short-acting, high-potency benzo such as Xanax, you may want to try something that lasts longer and doesn't hit as fast or as hard (Klonopin is potent, just like Xanax, it justs lasts forever).
