selegiline tablets in the US

Iam getting a prescription for 5mg of selegiline and i wanted to know if anyone knows the most potent form available in the US. Also is there any difference in the brand name vs generic ??

I will also be quartering the tablets, does anyone know if there are any contradictions in doing so ?
