I am curious as to what a conscious seizure is like without loss of awareness. I wonder if I have had some that I really did not understand. They may have been substance induced, but there are other times when I was stone-cold sober at that moment and the weeks preceding.
I have had hallucinations, metallic taste, temporary blackout {literal and not memory} excessive fear {momentary in reference to nothing}, what I call brain jolts {shifting headache like pain that is not a typical headache} I have also had night terrors a plenty, but I know that they do not necessarily relate to epilepsy.
I already take Trileptal, but I am more curious about this disease because I have close friends with it too. I haven't had most of those aforementioned symptoms recently or most of my life before my moods began to cycle in my late teens early 20s.
