i took both lexapro and effexor and noticed weight gain also - i blamed it on the 'don't care' feeling they give and ate anything i wanted, just because i 'didn't care'.
i tired wellbrutin as well, and i lost weight with that because it surpressed my appetite.
i am now on concerta bc the above did not help my depression and my pdoc is trying a new approach...thankfully, it too surpresses my apetite.
