Sustained Release Xanax

Posted by Snowie on November 8, 2003, at 12:13:26

I haven't searched the archives, but my pdoc just told me that Xanax SR (or whatever they're calling it) is now available in the US. It's been available in Europe for years, but apparently received FDA approval in the States. My pdoc said it's expensive - $3 a pill. Nothing worked better for me on GAD than Xanax, but when I added Neurontin to the mix, Xanax didn't seem to work as well. Just wondering if anyone in the States is taking the sustained release form of Xanax, and any comment. Thanks.
