I heard a lot of different things about ssris and alcohol but I think "irreparable damages" is excessive ... When you take this stuff is better *not exaggerate* with alcohol, but having a couple of glasses of wine won't take you to the hospital. If you exaggerate the worst thing that can happen in the short term is a very big hang over, in the long term is just a double stress for the liver, so, knobody knows, it depends on your liver : ) consider also that alcohol is a depressing substance and that some people on some SSRIs get drunk easier ... but don't obsess yourself about the alcohol thing ... it's the easiest way to drink more ;-)
