Inderal LA

Posted by SandyWeb on October 19, 2003, at 11:18:51

Does anyone know if Inderal LA (I take 80mg dose) is a slow-release for 12-hours, or is it a slow release for 24-hours?

I have been assuming that the dose is for a 24-hour period, and I take it at 8am each day. However, I experience the symptoms of my blood pressure going back up and my heart rate increasing as the day wears on.....especially in the evening and when I go to bed. The early morning is the worse, with the sensation of pounding in my legs, head, etc.

If the med is only slow release for 12-hours, I guess I would need to take it twice per day?

Thanks for any help!
