Your GP or OB/GYN can also prescribe AD's but if you end up having problems then they will refer you to a psychiatrist. The problem with pdocs is that they can only subscribe medications and rarely do they understand or sympathize what effects they have on you, its basically a big guessing game but if you get the right med it can make it all worth it. Hang in there.
