Thank for the reply. No you havne't pissed me off at all! What I may not hav ementioned in my post was that I called the gas company myself and had it checked - my landlords did nothing - nor have I told them YET. I am going to draft a letter explaining what happened as far as them finind out about the gas leak - at least that way - as you stated above - this will be a learning experience for them.
