I know correlation isn't causation and all that, but I should ask here just in case. I really need to figure out why I couldn't focus last week even with doubling my dose or with trying Ritalin again.

ADD-wise it was still as if I was taking a placebo. For months I'd successfully used (name brand) dexedrine without developing any tolerance, and that's why I'd asked if there could be a difference between Dex spansules and the generic (Barr) d-amph. On Friday I went back to Ritalin (had some left over from a while ago). But even the Ritalin didn't work fully, which is why I'm researching if the Ambien could interfere.

Well... I dunno... but I really doubt Ambien has anything to do with it. Granted, it's possible.. but not likely.

Brand names and generics do have some differences sometimes in the amount of the drug that appears in the bloodstream at any given time, even if the dosages are the same. For most people, there is no difference, but for an unlucky few, there is.
