Well, it's not a tricyclic per se...it's sorta as old as one (from what I know) but it's not in the same family of drugs. But it definately does affect how awake I get after a night's sleep...but it's REALLY cool to sleep a whole night thru, I haven't done that more than a couple nights/month in YEARS. :)
The plan is to see if I can adjust to 25mg (every night before bed) and if I can, then up the dosage...it's supposed to bolster my Wellbutrin and get me thru these nasty winter months, as well as making me sleep. So far, I'm just generally happier cuz I'm rested, but the energy still isn't there and that's a problem. (on the other hand, I'm getting the things done that don't take energy, which is cool!)
I...want to stay at half-pills til I'm fully awake during the day. If that doesn't ever happen, I'll never raise the dosage (I only see my doc every 3 months, so it's up to me, in between).Thanks for your responses! :)
