Hi Scott,
Thats so strange about Zyprexa how it works so well for a short period of time. The first time I tried it, it was just by itself and it made me hypomanic, which actually felt really good. The second time I had the Lamictal in the background so it tempered it a great deal, but still felt really great. Im not sure how my doctor is going to go about this. Ive already tried the Prozac+Zyprexa combo and it made me considerably worse. I think hes just taking shots in the dark to find something that will bring that Zyprexa response back, if such a thing even exists.
I do sleep way too much. Probably the Zyprexa and the Nardil. I dont notice any sedation when I take the Nardil though. Its always sleeping too late into the morning from taking the Zyprexa the night before. I am about to go up to 75mg, so Ill see how that goes. As far as weight gain, I havent noticed anything considerable from the Zyprexa. Ive been taking it for 6-8 weeks and have gained maybe 4 or 5 pounds. I will keep you posted if I find anything that works, and please do the same.
Whats your diagnosis an symptoms by the way? Thanks..-Mark
