Hi!
I also take Wellbutrin (with Celexa) and I've been suffering from sleep problems (no problems going to sleep, but waking up multiple times a night & in early morning) for a while now. Have been prescribed trazodone & seroquel to help with those problems, but both were too sedating.
My new pdoc, who I think is fabulous, recommended regular ol' melatonin, to fix my sleep cycle. He told me to get it from a reputable source, such as GNC, and to take 3 mgs/night about an hour before bedtime. Said it doesn't work immediately, but will help get your sleep cycle back in a normal rhythm after about 2 weeks. For me, it doesn't have a sedating effect immediately and certainly no hangover effect in the morning, but I believe it has produced a more restful sleep.
Hope this helps.
Penny> i've recently started taking wellbutrin and my insomnia seems to be progressive. i'm wanting to know what non-drug alternatives there are to getting a good nights sleep. i'm trying to avoid getting on several drugs to counter act each other.
