Yeah, you're pretty much stuck with tricyclics, I guess. There is the selective MAO-B inhibitor selegiline (AKA l-deprenyl). Stimulants are something to consider also.

TCAs aren't supposed to work for borderline personality. On the other hand, BPD is such an overused diagnosis that it probably shouldn't be taken too seriously.
