I'm no psychiatrist, but I did switch from Zoloft to Wellbutrin several years ago. I don't remember the exact way my doctor had me reduce the dose of Zoloft, but I do know that I did take the medication every day. Is there any way you can get your doctor to give you some Zoloft in a lower dose pill - maybe she/he has some samples you could use? I've been on 150 mg of Wellbutrin SR twice a day for over three years now. I was on a lower dose at first but experienced some breakthrough seasonal depression so the dose was increased.
