> Maybe this has been discussed, but I've wondered why they didn't remove Robatussin DM from the shelves when the teeny boppers started getting "drunk" on it. I'm told, however, that you can get high on anything if you take enough of it - one being Dramamene. Guess one could then travel around the world, huh?:) Actually, I guess I did once read that you can get intoxicated on water. Something about the body's equalibrium? Anyway - Kitty. I remember seeing her on television after Michael had secured the nomination and someone opened a bottle of champagne and offered some to both of them to celebrate the victory - she refused the goblet and then after a look from her husband, took it, but I never saw her drink from it, as I can recall. I knew right then, there was a problem of some sort. I hope she's doing well now. Haven't heard anything about her for a long time, so no news is good news, perhaps.
Re: Robitussin DM--where I lived, they did put it behind the counter--you have to ask for the pharmacist for it. The stupid thing is, though, the "store brand" is still on the shelf!
Not to blast Kazoo, because we all make mistakes, but see how easily rumors about public officials can get started? What about all the people who only read the first post in this thread?
I've been involved in politics, and I can see why it's hard to find anyone with integrity who wants to run for office--if they can't find a skeleton in your closet, they'll put one there!!
